ok thailand.
i wouldn't describe my trip as fun. but it was good. and i enjoyed it mostly. it was nice knowing that i'm like, part of this nice big warm family :) tho i couldn't really communicate cos like, i can't speak teochew. neither can i speak thai. but i could talk to some of the pple uh, my generation. cos they knew some english. so well, yea, that was good.
i want to learn thai. then i can talk to them. haha
the very first thai word i learnt : hong nam.
that's "toilet"
haha.
and this trip, i can remember uh...two words.
nam keng - ice
kin - eat
oh another. kao - rice.
so kin kao is eat rice.
haha :)
i went to bangkok and didn't buy anything :) haha. my aunt bought stuff mostly and i just walked behind converting the price for her. as in, she tells me how much baht and i tell her how much sing that is. (sing dollars) and then i carry everything and i'm lucky when boat(mum's cousin's son. he's changed a WHOLE lot. i could hardly recognise him :/haha) comes cos then he'll help carry. haha.
worship team auditions soon! anybody want to join the worship team? :)
and worship retreat too. should be 26th-28th nov. but might be on the 24th-26th instead. having some problem with the venue. yeaps.
i asked my brother about the worship team blah blah and well, he says that he feels that the worship team is....players are better (technically), we're more God-centered....yeaps. but not everyone feels the same way. ok everyboday....regardless of whether you're in the worship team or not, what do you think of the worship team? has it improved? is it worse? are we more or less God-centered? and anything else you want to say :)
ushers, the ushering shirt is $15 but we have to pay $10 for it cos church is subsidising. you'll most prolly get your shirts next next week cos next week is saturday service so well...a bit harder as in, cos not everyone will come kinda thing.
