Who Are You?

Anointing

When I say I want to bring a greater anointing to places, it means I want to bring more of You.

No Limits

25 July 2012 God is not asking you to give up or sacrifice anything. He made you and knows what will truly energise you and make you happy. So he asks you to empty your hands so it can take hold of something else that will fit those hands better. And. Don't limit God by your view. God is much bigger than that- He can see the whole world! He knows what's in it! You just have to trust Him. Don't be limited by what you see. Because God is not limited by that and He doesn't plan with limits.

People

I don't have to like everyone but I have to be open to them. I don't have to like everyone but I have to love them. I want to.

My Utmost For His Highest

You realise who God is by what you do. Through those things, you experience Christ. Doing, eating, drinking, ushering, writing an article, singing, thinking, being a friend; in all, You bring Christ and know Christ more. Mum reminded me of something so simple and important yet so easily forgotten. That is, to be a blessing. We go or do not because we are obligated to, but because we consciously want to be a blessing. "I want to know Christ, and the power of His resurrection, and participate in His sufferings, becoming like Him in His death, and so, somehow, attaining to the resurrection from the dead." -Philippians 3:10-11 (NIV)

Complete Devotion

Am reading My Utmost For His Highest which says we can only be devoted to Jesus by the Holy Spirit. Because the Holy Spirit fills us with God's love. To love God. "...For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love" (Romans 5:5 NLT) Oswald Chambers (author of MUFHH) says we should not be devoted to a set of rules or doctrine- that's hard- but we should be devoted to Christ. He calls us to Himself. Hm. It's true- it is easier to focus on a person, than on a set of rules. At least it is true for me. And at least, to focus on a person who is unchanging. Am I truly devoted to Jesus Christ? Or do I have others before Him? And, I need the Holy Spirit to love God with all I am.
