My Utmost for His Highest

My Utmost for His Highest Heartiness v. Heartlessness Towards Others "It is Christ . . . who also maketh intercession for us." "The Spirit . . . maketh intercession for the saints." Romans 8:34, 27 Do we need any more argument than this to become intercessors - that Christ "ever liveth to make intercession;" that the Holy Spirit "maketh intercession for the saints"? Are we living in such a vital relationship to our fellow men that we do the work of intercession as the Spirit-taught children of God? Begin with the circumstances we are in - our homes, our business, our country, the present crisis as it touches us and others - are these things crushing us? Are they badgering us out of the presence of God and leaving us no time for worship? Then let us call a halt, and get into such living relationship with God that our relationship to others may be maintained on the line of intercession whereby God works His marvels. Beware of outstripping God by yo

Pre-NS Talk Saturday 31 March Wesley Methodist Church Basement Room 1/2 2pm - 5pm All are welcome. - Okay I'm sorry. Zhuo Wen is Compo and not Compre. My bad. I did mean Compo. Just that...I got mixed up. Shucks. haha. Now I sound like I'm excusing myself. :) Anybody remember this sticker? CMJ gave out I think sweets? With this sticker on it. A few years ago, at YM. CMJ is my Small Group. CMJ stands for Colour Me Jesus. Eddie was the one who suggested that name. One of our goals as a young small group when YM first started about 5 years ago was to ride in a police car. Eddie is a policeman, you see. Have we grown? Definitely. Are we the colour of Jesus? haha. What colour is Jesus? Okay I think Jesus is colourful. hm.
I didn't quite want to wake up this morning. I started dreaming about writing Chinese Zhuo Wen (Comprehension). It was really bad. Maybe that's why I woke up. Eh.

Today, in my diary, I listed down all my bad points. Well, all I could think of. Blah blah blah. Blah. Blah. Long list. Blah. Then after all that, I wrote that God's grace is enough. His abundant provision of grace is enough. And it felt good. It made me go like, wow. God is really beautiful. And I was filled with gratitude. It's a good feeling. Maybe you should try it sometime. :) - Refiner's Fire Brian Doerksen Purify my heart Let me as gold, and precious silver Puritfy my heart Let me be as gold, pure gold. Romans 8:5

"Those who live according to the sinful nature have their minds set on what the nature desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires." – Romans 8:5 - You know, I'm actually quite excited to start school again. I don't know where exactly I'm going, actually, for uni. But well. I just am quite excited anyway. But help! I need the right doors opened/closed– I'm not very good at making decisions when I'm not clear about things. Bah. But yes, trust God. :)

You are awesome, God.

You are awesome, God. I heart you many many. "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." –Romans 15:13

Spirited Away, and updates.

Hello :) I watched Spirited Away over YouTube today. But anyway. Just one point. In the story, Haku got poisoned, and they said only something really powerful could break that spell. In the end, it was Chihiro's love for Haku which broke the spell. Love. Love crossing boundaries, love "breaking spells", love being selfless and poweful. And I thought of perfect love, shown through the cross, by our Jesus– crossed boundaries, "broke spells", was selfless and yes, powerful. Love. There's no greater love than this There's no greater love than this That a man would give his life for a friend There's no higher sacrifice That a man would give his life You have paid the highest price for me I love it when God reveals Himself, or some truth or lesson, through the unexpected. (Like a movie; example above) See, God is everywhere. He is real. Even the heavens declare His glory and beauty and splendour. "The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies procl

At Dip show. It's over! It was good. (We were supposed to make funny faces. Hence my open mouth. But everyone else... made nice faces. And the 3 boys funny faces are uh, the back of their heads? Look closely. Haha yea.) I like polaroids. Maybe I should get a polaroid kamera. Polaroid film equals expensive– "Can take, $.170!" Is what we say. Polaroids are kool. The end. Trust His heart.

Trust His Heart Babbie Mason and Eddie Carswell All things work for our good though sometimes we can’t see how they could. Struggles that break our hearts in two sometimes blind us to the truth. Our Father knows what’s best for us; His ways are not our own. So, when your pathway grows dim, and you just can’t see Him, Remember He’s still on the throne. God is too wise to be mistaken. God is too good to be unkind. So when you don’t understand, when you don’t see His plan, When you can’t trace His hand, trust His heart. He sees the Master plan. He holds the future in His hands. So don’t live as those who have no hope. All our hope is found in Him. We walk in present knowledge, but He sees the first and the last. And like a tapestry, He’s weaving you and me to someday be just like Him. God is too wise to be mistaken. God is too good to be unkind. So when you don’t understand, when you don’t see His plan, When you can’t trace His hand, trust His heart.
