God has never found me trivial or insignificant

Was browsing through some old diaries. (If you don't already know, I write a lot. I journal.) You know what? God has never found me trivial or insignificant- I can tell Him anything and everything. - Hello Abi , we shall be HI forever. haha. Just that you have the harder job cos you're the H. Sorry :/ :) < 3 - To remember to buy a small bottle of bubble soap. I still remember. Siew and Mei bought me a set of bubble blower thingies when I was in primary school, in a brown box with a bambi sticker and neon green and orange patterns drawn on with fabric paint. I still have it. And I still have the bubble blower (and fishing toy) from Sham, Dawn, Roy and Cheek . omg. So recent. But I've lost all the bubble bottles. Somehow. Used to leave one in school (TP). Therapeutic. To blow bubbles, I mean. Not leaving the bottle there.

Psalm 91

Psalm 91 1 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust." 3 Surely he will save you from the fowler's snare and from the deadly pestilence. 4 He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. 5 You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, 6 nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. 7 A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. 9 If you make the Most High your dwelling— even the LORD, who is my refuge- 10 then no harm will befall you, no disaster will come near your tent. 11 For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; 12

transparent and unashamed and proud

Thoughts from here and there. Do note that while some thoughts reflect what's going on in my life or things I've learnt, sometimes it's stuff that I think will be applicable to others, or just something I feel like posting at random. - I don't ever want to hide. I want to be transparent and unashamed and proud. I want to be able to boast. To boast in the Lord. To be bold. To be sure. Like Paul, I want to be able to bold say, "imitate me as I imitate Christ" (1 Cor 11:1). My answers should come without hesitation because things are clear and I am convicted and I say what I mean, and I have nothing to hide. To all of you- here's a challenge: aim to be like Paul. Lead a life worthy of the calling you have received (Ephesians 4:1), being able to boldly say, "Imitate me as I imitate Christ". - Meet with me Ten Shekel Shirt I'm here to meet with you Come and meet with me I'm here to find you Reveal yourself to me As I wait, You make me strong A

My house is just the right distance away from the MRT station.

Did you know? My house is just the right distance away from the MRT station. If it were any further, I'd have to take the bus home always cos it'd be too far to walk (or, I'd be too lazy to walk). If it were any nearer, the walk home wouldn't be as nice because it wouldn't be as interesting. - Matthew 5:13 "You are the salt of the earth..." (Images from a video they played before every session at Hillsong conference. Which was really good. Sorry it's so blurry.)

The train station which kind of looked like the station in London, Abi, Hui and Patty at YHA hostel where the bunch of us stayed- was cosy, Our saviour from the cold- the heater, My usual shot of my shoes with the ground, Ma and pumpkin soup which I am not too keen on, Burgerlicious and nachos with much topping, Jeremy in the train reading Time or Newsweek, Darling Habour, Sydney Fish Market which other than fresh seafood, has got lovely signboards, Only Chinhui takes pictures of tiles geez haha, Hillsong conference, which was the main part of everything. Truly, excellence inspires. Everything was so good. Learnt much. One thing I realised was how some people serve (in church/wherever) so much that it becomes routine and no longer a sacrifice. 2 Sam 24:24 "I will not sacrifice to the Lord my God burnt offerings th
