and had to get rid of some chocs. those coin chocolates?
yep. got some from rachael and dunno who.
and then i was gonna dump some in alex's hand but he like...
dumped his chocs in my hand first and i tried to run away but was unsuccesful.
so i went to the table at the back where all the logistics were
ernest and joshua were there.
and i just said smtg like ''hey guys. chocs for y'all!"
and ernest was saying thank you when
i dumped the like...15 or so chocolate coins on the table
and then ran away.
whahaha.

It's a small act, but a way I know to raise my voice; a tiny voice in the crowd, but still, a voice.  One person commented on the page that it is of no use to campaign, because we campaigned against casinos but casinos were built in Singapore in the end. I disagree. Just because the main goal did not score does not mean nothing happened. A lot would have happened "in the field". In the process, Singaporeans were brought to awareness of the casino situation and what was actually happening. He found her

I was reading this book which referenced the woman at the well from the Bible and it said she found Jesus, or rather He found her.  Now I'm not one to think too deeply about eh intricacies and theology or Calvinism or any of that, but when I read that I though, wow – in the midst of all people Jesus found her. In the middle of a crowd He found her, specifically her. It means she must have been special, she must have stood out somehow, there must have been something for Jesus to have found her.  And what a joy and delight, to be found by Jesus.

Grateful for the unexpected good

I never set out to have all of these. All the goals people say we must set – I never had those. I could have been single for a long time, willingly. I was focussed on my honours thesis, serving in OCF, just loving God. Then He interrupted me. God interrupted me. Though it took time, my heart was opened up to this idea – the idea of a romantic relationship, the idea of having someone to lean on,  and He gave me someone good . So yea, I never set out to have all that I have. But God has given to me. And I am grateful. --- Shot on film by Mei and Mingyao.
