I'M BACK!
yeps. i'm back from wales. had a good time.
ee and tim drove there...few hours. got a bit car-sick so ee gave me her rowntree's jelly tots...lots and lots for tots! nice :) so i bought another 2 on the way back.
on the car ride, i noticed that even though the tree branches were bare [coz winter] they still looked beautiful (",). happened that i just listened to "let everything that has breath praise the Lord" on my MD and i looked at the trees and noticed that most of the branches grew upwards. [ok. the grow upwards coz...sun all that. still] and yeps....so cool right? let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
there, stayed in cottages...3 families, and the 4 of us [ee, tim, soh khim and meee] frances was there. she's ma's friend. and vanessa, her daughter, was ee's sunday sch student. chris was there too...from church.
at night it's so super dark it's freaky ok...had to walk from fraces' cottage to ours and the whole way it's pitch dark! like, you put your hand in front of you and you can't see it. luckily we brought a torchlight.
drove to tenby which is a town. drove to the cliffs there which was by the coast. whoa. sooooooper nice ok. look down at the crashing waves....climbing up and down where there were paths....standing still and admiring the beauty around....whee.
the wind was so strong....at times i didn't dare to walk...when i was nearer the parts which were...not so wide. so had to be more careful. haha. but really cool lah...the beauty all that.
walked to tenby through some a bit muddy paths...fuuun! hehe...i like to walk faster. dunno why. and when we walked, it was getting dark so i got worried and had to tell them to hurry or else if we didn't get back before it got dark...pitch-dark....oh. that won't be fun man.
after dinner the grandad was talking to me and my sis coz we were the only pple who would really listen to him[guest mah. must be polite rite?] he's like, 81. he talk dunno what history stuff and he kept looking at me coz i was looking at him[again...must be polite as a guest] and i was feeling so weird coz i dind't know where to look. had to keep looking at him and smiling and nodding my head. when i didn't even know what he was talking about.
played articulate. a game which i suck at. haha. i need to know more. read my papers know my history and whatever more properly. they could guess all the stuff and i down there stupid stupid cannot guess anything. ah.
went to the beach. they had some swimming thing. crazy ok?!?! swimming in that weather. the 3 of them were taking photos all the time. i didn't bother to bring the video cam coz one, i'm not very interested in filming. and two, the wind was really strong most of the time and so my hand was shaking and i couldn't film properly so no point filming.
and then we went up this...hill. whoa. the wind was so strong! and it was like, drizzling!?!?! so i was getting slapped by the rain and the edges of my windbreaker so i tucked the sides. in. pain man. haha. then cheeks were numb. soh khim and i were just standing behind the statue thing most of the time coz when we moved, the wind would like, kinda blow us.
then had to walk down so i had to use strength to walk down [?!]...haha. got blown a few steps away once and soh khim and ee were like...whoa! and kinda like, rushed forward to grab me. WHAHAHAHAHA...
at the beach, picked shells FOR MELISSA. had to take my cold hands out of my pockets to PICK SHELLS FOR MELISSA. but too bad coz england doens't have nice shells. frances' said so too. so mel, you're gonna get a few ordinary shells.
got my shoes muddied and wet coz i was "playing" with the water....
learned to play come card games with the kids there. honestly, whatever one of the girls was saying, i was like....i only half understood coz her accent was so strong. heh. and i didn't bother to "pardon?" coz like, if you say so many times....like so weird....eh.
the kids - chris' cousins...swam..but it was in a heated pool. [ i haven't gone swimming in years i think. i don't have a swimming costume either. haha...so deprived. haha]
watched homerun...khim had the vcd. i don't really have anything to say about it coz i watched Children of heaven.
wore slippers coz my shoes were wet. so on the drive back when we stopped, it was quite ok. but when we stopped where there was snow....owwww. bare feet in the snow = not good. my toes got so frozen that they were painful. for the reat of the whole ride back...about 3hrs i think....my feet were cold.
i slept most of the time (",)
i'm still freezing now actually.
well, i had a great time and whee! thank God for this opportunity :) to go to wales :) all that. going to church tmr. shoes unwashed. can't be bothered to wash now. guess i just have to wear one of ee's shoes. gonna die of cold soon so i shall go and snuggle under the blankets....of my SISTERs bed...coz hers has an electric blanket. gonna read "captain corelli's mandolin". poor girl. the guys she falls in love with all get injured horribly by the war. see : WAR IS BAAAAD. so stupid bush.

and my room doesn't have an electric blanket. and somehow, the heat from the heater doesn't seem to spread around the room tho it's the smallest room. so i like, sit in front of the heater when i get really cold. but i got a heater so i should be grateful (",)
