Ah. It's already past 2am!

Doing some reading for my project and... talking about the media...how it should potray the real consequences of sex (out of marriage), "After all these years, why isn't James Bond a Daddy?"

Anyway, Christmas :)
Back when we were staying at Green Meadows, we used to have a nice tall christmas tree which we'd put up and decorate yearly. We haven't had that for a while now. But this year, meimei made a nice muji-like tree. The presents are there, but we haven't opened them because we're waiting for the da jie.





Candlelight service on the 23rd and Christmas service on the 25th. Services like that, sometimes the thought of not going pops into my mind. Perhaps because I'm lazy :p and I think, what for? I mean, I can think about the meaning of Christmas and whatever other stuff at home right? But well, I always go in the end. And I'm always glad I went. It's fun with everyone doing stuff and being happy together. haha. I don't quite know. But, well, it just always is such a warm thing.

Christmas service in the sanctuary was lovely. The choir sounded pretty good, and they sang nice upbeat songs which were a little different from usual, and wei and I had some fun trying to harmonise and sing funny.


We don't usually have a proper Christmas dinner. But anyway. This year- I "koped" this from mei's blog-"the younger brother and sister cooked the annual christmas meal sans da jie and i contributed with my very first pie - a pork and mushroom pie! we had mussels - more lemon would have been good - pasta, salad - that's seaweed on the top thrown in by the sibs, honeyed chicken wings - the bro cooked a few in baileys and got a self-induced high on it, not the wine - chipolatas skewered with bacon and we were rightly suitably stuffed! one of the few times the sibs gather in the kitchen and argue over the use of the convection oven - my fault - the pastry was too thick so i had to leave it in the oven for much longer."

Pretty fun. Yay for family :)
