A New Act of Creation

A New Act of Creation

Calvin Thielman, pastor in montreat, North Carolina, tells the story of an old Scottish preacher who, as he was serving the bread (representation of Jesus' body) and wine (representation of Jesus' blood) of the Lord's supper, noticed a yong girl sobbing at the communion rail (where we usually receive the bread and wine). As he passed her the bread, visible sign of the body of the Lord Jesus ("I give it for the life of the world," He said) the girl turned away her face, which was wet with teasrs.

"Tak' it, lassie," said the old man. "It's for sinners".

No sin is too great. He forgives. HE is bigger than all that.

Draw near to Him, and He will draw near to you.
Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will lift you up.
(James 4)
