"There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under heaven...
He has made everything beautiful in its time...
I know that everything God does will endure forever;
nothing can be added to it and taken from it."
- Ecclesiastes 3

writing in my journal in february, i listed down how one can love, as a lover:

shower with gifts
place other above self - want good for the other
acts of service
want to be near that person, be in that person's presence, constantly
be patient
have self-control
share deep thoughts, to build the relationship. tell of dreams and plans
mutual trust
stay pure (single minded, don't flirt with others)
respect
be presentable (how you look does reflect your partner)
not be afraid to be myself, but also considering my flaws and knowing what has to be changed
take an interest in the others' hobbies/likes/passions
talk about him to others
not get distracted when you are alone together

so i must try to be all that to Jesus!

Anointed Music and Worship by Norman Holmes. Talking about how we go from the Outer Court, to the Holy Place, to the Holy of Holies.

"To enter the Holy of Holies we must enter within the last veil, which symbolizes the death of the flesh. There in the Holy of Holies we can find that there were no activities performed by man, except for the High Priest once a year entering in to sprinkle the blood of atonement - and even this symbolizes the finished work of Christ.

This was the opposite of the Outer Court, where there was much exhausting human effort involved in the offering up of the animal sacrifices and the washing at the brass laver. In the Holy Place only much lighter tasks were performed as the priests c hanged the bread, placed incense on the altar, and adjusted the lamps. But in the Holy of Holies human activity was replaced by God's activity as the Lord revealed His glory and spoke from the mercy seat. There it was not man seeking to meet with God - in the Holy of Holies it was God meeting with man (Exodus 25:22).

In a similar manner, if we spiritually enter into the Holy of Holies we will find all of our human activities to be humbled and silenced before Him. It is God who will perform all the activity as He meets with us, speaks with us, and reveals His glory."

spring is here. and oh, it is mighty windy.

somehow, i think perhaps the seasons make time seem to pass faster.
winter is here! winter is ending; spring is here! spring is ending already; summer is here...

strong winds discourage school-going. rain, too.
i think if the winds want to whip, they should whip hard enough for school to be cancelled.
But that is an evil thing to wish for (harsher winds).

13:

in greeting or saying goodbyes, people should say "goodnight/good morning", rather than "night/morning". that is because the point of your phrase is usually to wish the person something - a good night or morning - rather than informing them the hour of the day, which they most probably already know.

i think it started with Finding Nemo's Squirtle. i'm not sure.

don't worry, be happy

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." -Philippians 4:6-7 (NIV)

"Don't fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God's wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It's wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the centre of your life." - Philippians 4:6-7 (The Message)

I fix my eyes on You.
