Let people ask questions

Lesson for the day: Speak the main point briefly, let people ask questions. If they don't, they are not interested- so move on to the next question.

Ask about their industry. Not interested or don't know much? Ask something general. Eg, what excites you? What do you do outside work?

Don't be "chiong hei". It's not about you. It's about them- what are they interested in? (Just offer enough for them to be able to ask the next question)

Weekend at Lakes Entrance

A weekend away at Lakes Entrance, 6 friends made up of 3 couples, coinciding on my birthday weekend. Stopped at Warragul Thai which was delicious and well priced. Then crabbing on a fine afternoon with a few minutes of soaking rain. All for a good haul of sweet sand crabs, later oven baked with duck fat. Mm mm.
