Double crazy double reward

Since the sky had cleared up and there was good evening light, 

I took the camera out to play. 

Took a shot of the view outside my house:

Then turned away to snap something else. 

When I turned my attention back to the skies, this appeared!

Okay the photos look like they are from the '80s.

These seem to be quite common appearances here. 

It must be to make up for the craziness of the weather.
