Chinese New Year

We had two Chinese New Year meals in Melbourne this year. 
One was hot pot with good friends.
The other was potluck with cousins.

It's good to keep tradition, even in simple ways like having a meal together. The tradition we haven't taken part in is giving Ang Pows since we haven't been back to Singapore or Malaysia for Chinese New Year :P

I already thought Tupperware was cool, but these ads made them cooler. Weekend at Lakes Entrance

A weekend away at Lakes Entrance, 6 friends made up of 3 couples, coinciding on my birthday weekend. Stopped at Warragul Thai which was delicious and well priced. Then crabbing on a fine afternoon with a few minutes of soaking rain. All for a good haul of sweet sand crabs, later oven baked with duck fat. Mm mm.
