I've got to admit I haven't been reading my Bible very regularly. Still, God has been very good, constantly speaking and revealing through His Word. These days, I find that I read somewhat differently. As I read, I seem to recognise the tone and emotions of the situation more than before. Beyond just reading objectively and looking at things metaphorically and whatnot, I seem to understand more of the... the EQ part of it? It's like I actually feel the text. Haha. Like I feel something... almost in my heart? It's pretty cool actually - exciting :D Exciting when God stirs you in some way ayes? Exciting when new things happen and are learnt or given! Part of it probably has been contributed by Ian and a church leader saying that while reading a text, it is important to understand the then-culture and situation in order to comprehend it better. I was strumming on my guitar earlier and... I think the keys of E and A are magical. They just sound so... "right". Or however you describe it. You know what I mean? Thank God for capos, given my limited chord knowledge :P

I think what my primary four teacher said still rings true. Miss Ng once handed out worksheets saying, Amy... her handwriting is long and tall, Miao Xuan, it's the cute and stubby kind, Jessica always writes in cursive; and Jinghui... (laughs) Jinghui's handwriting is never the same, always different! You know how they say you can tell more about a person based on their handwriting? Well if that's true, I wonder what that says about me :) That I'm inconsistent? Gasp! Just kidding. That was a self-evaluation ha ha. I take these things with a pinch of salt. And. I don't know why but I remember such random stuff.

We don't watch that much TV in this home, but since we needed a new Internet sign up and SingTel's cheapest (all we need) included mio TV , we now have more basic channels to pick from. Meanwhile, we have also been offered a few other channels, free for the first month; ie, being lured to suscribe for more months. And so, I've been busy. Busy watching movies :D Busy watching them before the month of free movies is up. In the past 3 days... As you might have noticed, these movies are quite old (hence free har har). But I've really enjoyed them. Some serious, some not so; for a good balance. Sometimes you just need a little chick flick, you know. Thaw your brains a bit, laugh. And it helps that out TV is now bigger - thank you Siew Jie! ^.^ \m/ happy. haha. It's okay, don't worry. I won't be a sloth too much – I might be starting work soon, praise God! More on that some other time :) And. I do other things in the day too okay...
